So you're planning your Wedding Day, there is so much to think about - Venue, Dress, Flowers, Hair, Make-up, Jewellery, Cake and more - they are the exciting things! But then there is your Celebrant. If you do not have a family Minister Priest or religious leader to marry you, then you need to find a Celebrant. How do you do this if you don't know one personally?
Firstly - ask your friends and family - they may know of someone they can recommend.
If you have been to or are going to Weddings in the future, take note of the Celebrant and if you like them or not. Be particular about noticing their style - are they friendly, do they fit with your style of Wedding?
Take notice of where and how they stand when they are conducting the service - the last thing you want is your Celebrant to be in every Wedding ceremony photo you have! You especially want to make sure that they move out of the way when it come to THE KISS!
See if they show great skills in helping the couple to do all the formalities on the day, so that the couple can relax and enjoy their Wedding.
The main thing is, that they fit with you and your partner, and you feel comfortable with them, and they give you a personalised service.
