Whether it's family, children, an individual portrait or couples, Danielle will take time to discuss what is important to you, and how you envisage your portraits to look. Danielle generally works on location, either at your home, your local park or beach depending on your requirements.
For me portraits are an integral part of everyone's life, they are your history, your memories, and in the future your families heirlooms. So, you have thousands of photos on your phone or your computer, on Facebook or Instagram - great so have I. But I feel there is a place and time for images on walls or in books to look through. There is just something so special about seeing your images printed on quality papers.

Family is so important - especially in these days of constant movement and travel. So often we only take family photos when our children are young. This is lovely but I feel it is also important to grab those special moments when your family finally get together in the one place at the one time. Make the most of getting your adult children all together for a photo shoot, or maybe have three generations together in the one photo. These occasions rarely come easy these days.
Right from the time you are ready to announce to the world that you are having a child, to welcoming your new one into the world, this is such a wonderful time to capture, remember and document - not just for yourself, but for your child as they grow, and their history.
As adults, we love to look back at our childhood photos and reflect on the memories. As parents we want to capture those memories as a cherished moment in time. Photograph your children as they grow and have those memories forever.
I firmly believe that everybody deserves to have at least one professional portrait of themselves showing who they are, and where they were at a specific point in their life. It is so lovely to have beautifully crafted images to look back on and share with future generations. I remember thinking this when I saw those now iconic portraits of Lady Di taken by Mario Testino not long before her death - what a wonderful legacy for all of her family, and for everyone to remember her.

We all take loads of photos when we are a new couple in love. New love is a wonderful feeling and emotion to share. I also love to capture the love and friendship of couples who are going the distance, and have gone the distance together. The looks and communication they express in not their only way of being together, but also the unspoken language they show through their smiles and touch.
